Herbes de Provence will bring the fragrance and flavor of the sunny hills of southern France right to your table! Per the "Label Rouge" legal designation, Herbes de Provence should only contain four herbs for a simple yet wonderfully fragrant and flavorful blend that is deliciously versatile. Ingredients
  

  • 1 tablespoon dried summer savory
  • 1 tablespoon dried rosemary
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 2 teaspoons dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried lavender flowers (optional; not traditional in France, typically found only in blends marketed in North America)

Instructions
 

  • Place all of the herbs in an airtight jar and shake to combine.  Store the blend in a dark, cool place where it will keep for a few months.
    This makes just under 1/4 cup. Feel free to double, triple, etc if desired.
