1cuppacked fresh mint leaveswashed (use more or less depending on desired amount of peppermint flavor)
3cups100% apple juice
honey as needed
Add the mint leaves to the boiling water, cover, and let sit for 15 minutes. Drain and discard the mint leaves. Let the peppermint tea cool completely. Add the apple juice and chill. If you prefer it sweeter, add a little honey. Serve with ice.
*If you're in a hurry, use less water initially when making the peppermint tea to make it more concentrated, then add ice cubes to cool it off, add the apple juice and serve right away.
